A Community Farm

Brossman’s is your community farm!

Involving our community is important to us. We love getting to know our customers and showing them how to plant, grow, and harvest. We invite feedback and requests so we can continually improve our quality and service.

Brossman’s provides food to a local church pantry, provides peaches for the annual Loudoun County Fair, land and plants for the Giving Garden, and assists whenever possible with home-bound neighbors in need.

We invite you to walk out into the fields and see what’s growing. Rick is always happy to explain his plans for each field, take you over to the fruit trees or into the greenhouses to answer questions, and help you solve any problems you may have with your own plants and gardens. It’s great to see the kids out in the fields getting a hands-on learning experience!

We are especially proud to offer Garden Plots.

We offer a 36 foot row, or “plot”, where from March through Fall you are able to choose any fruit or vegetable plants, provided by us, then plant your crops, and pick all of your own fruits and vegetables produced from your plot.

2012 was our inaugural year for the garden plots, and we expand our offerings each year on available varieties, as well as available garden plot space based on the amount of response.

This garden is intended to be a community garden, where the growers can share in the experience, stay in touch with each other and share excess produce among themselves, if desired.
